Search and Rescue Opportunity Shop

The Search and Rescue Opportunity Shop in Blairgowrie opened in May 1997 with its sole purpose being to raise funds to support the Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad.  In October 2017 we received a letter informing us that our lease had ended and we would need to find a new location.   On 1st November, 2017 our new shop in Rye began trading.

Like the original shop, the new shop is staffed entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to support SPRS operations.

If you live in the Rye / Blairgowrie / Sorrento area and have a few spare hours to fill perhaps you would be interested in joining our friendly group of volunteers at the Op. Shop.  Margo is the Coordinator – she can be contacted at the shop on either Friday or Saturday mornings.

The shop can also be contacted by phone on 0416 110 798

The  Search and Rescue Op shop is situated at 12D Nelson Street, Rye (opposite the Rye RSL) – there are some great bargains to be found so why not pay them a visit.
