Search and Rescue Opportunity Shop

The Search and Rescue Opportunity Shop in Blairgowrie opened in May 1997 with its sole purpose being to raise funds to support the Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad.

The shop is staffed entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to support SPRS operations.

The funds raised by the “Op Shop” are vital to the future growth of the SPRS, allowing the Committee to feel confident that equipment can be updated and maintained when required.

The shop is situated in Wilson Road in the Blairgowrie Shopping Centre – there are some great bargains to be found so why not pay them a visit.

If you live in the Rye / Blairgowrie / Sorrento area and have a few spare hours to fill perhaps you would be interested in joining our friendly group of volunteers at the Op. Shop.  Margo is the Coordinator – she can be contacted on the number below.

The shop can also be contacted by phone on 5988 9311.
