Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad

Equipment

Rescue Vessels

Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad has two Naiad rescue vessels, built by Kirby Marine in Western Australia.

With their shallow draft, these vessels are ideal for use around the sand bars at the southern end of Port Phillip Bay. They also have the strength and stability to cope with the rough conditions often experienced both inside the Bay and out into Bass Strait.
