SPRS has supported recreational on-water users on the southern Mornington Peninsula for over 50 years.
The Squad comprises about 25 members who are all unpaid volunteers available to serve the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
SPRS do not charge a call-out fee.
We exist solely from small Government Grants, the proceeds from our Op Shop in Rye, and public donations.
Our Rescue Boats are ageing and will need to be replaced so we can continue our high standard of service with the latest technology and features.
Please consider donating if you appreciate having a rescue boat on call to assist you and your family.
Over the next 5 years (by 2029), we must raise $3 million to purchase state-of-the-art replacement vessels.
The Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad is a registered charity; therefore, donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
Remember us in your Will.
By making a bequest to SPRS, you can play a vital role in protecting the safety of all recreational boating users on Port Phillip Bay on the southern Mornington Peninsula.
